I’m so glad you’re doing this series! This is exactly the sort of critical feedback (both strengths and areas for improvement) about example writing that I was CRAVING as student. I’m sure so many people will find this super useful (including me!!)

Thank you!! It’s very encouraging to read these words. I’ll be honest, I didn’t think of it as a service to others at first (it started as a way to entertain myself during a summer break 😅), so knowing that it’s being received as a helpful exercise for others makes me really happy!

I loved this breakdown! I felt similar feelings when I re-read my master's thesis. I recently repackaged it to give a lecture, and when I was prepping my talk, I thought to myself, "Why the hell did I write this sentence this way?" lol
